It's 2020 and I just reinstalled this game. I came to this video looking for info on changing resolution.
I figured it out so anyone coming here for that info (including me in the future) here's how:
Go to your install folder and locate the file "CtlPrefs.xml"
Don't double click to open it, right click and choose OPEN WITH -> WORDPAD (not NOTEPAD)
Change the lines:
<PixWidth>800</PixWidth>
<PixHeight>600</PixHeight>
TO:
<PixWidth>1920</PixWidth>
<PixHeight>1080</PixHeight>
Save as a TEXT file in a different location like your desktop in case you have to delete the .txt extension and make it .xml
** Your OS may name it CtlPrefs.xml.txt after the save as text file option
–> Delete the original .xml and replace with the new one.

How did you get this running mate? I spent 3 hours the other night trying to get this working. I still have my original pc release in box. I installed it and gave it the 1.01 update even tried tweaking compatibility settings and still couldn't get it working. I'm on Windows 7 btw.
