  1. So what he did was take the scenes which contains the sounds and manipulates them so you can hear only the music, well for the most part. If you hear closely, you can hear some background noises from the film like breaking glass, gunshots or people speaking. He tried to cover the noises by adding a static noise. So much effort he did only because the official ost didn't contained these tracks. Better than recreating the whole thing. This is original as it can be. Greetings from germany.

  2. This is NOT the complete score! Where’s the theme when the chainsaw shootout happens and when tony chases down hector and shoots him??

  3. Moroder composed fantastic synth scores in the 80's. I'm surprised he doesn't have the kind of following that John Carpenter or Tangerine Dream have now. If you like this, I recommend checking out his score for American Gigolo and Cat People. Great stuff !

  4. 15.SURROUNDING THE MANSION – YOU WANT ME TONY? – excellent use of the 'detuner' effect on the synth on 'Gina's Theme' variant. Conveys & interprets the feeling of a broken, disembodied, surreal & traumatised Gina in this scene very effectively. First time I've heard that part of the score a bit more closely and in detail. So much work involved in all the details of synth programming/arrangements for each variation of the theme, brilliant stuff. Arrangers: Arthur Barrow, Sylvester Levay, Richie Zito, Cristian Shultze & Giorgio Moroder. Absolute legends.

  5. I don't know why MCA cannot just dig out the original masters and finally give us an official expanded edition with the entire original score as well as the soundtrack, with all the unreleased/alternate material as well – it would sell like hot cakes, plus a score of this quality for a film that has acheived legendary cult status deserves this official attention and treatment. So many other soundtracks have been re-released in expanded form over the years, some of which are actually rare/obscure and are from specialist labels…yet they got the expanded, unreleased material treatment…so what gives, Universal/MCA??

  6. Thank you very much bro it's amazing, can I know how you extract the bachground musics from the vocals ?……(we know its taken from the film) sadly Giorgio Moroder have not released the ''Official score''.
